2005 Total Nonstop Action [TNA] Wrestling Impact! Marvel Toys Series 3 "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown [Black Trunks Variant]

Likely the hardest to find figure in the Marvel Toys TNA Wrestling Impact! line, the story with this figure isn't fully known. We know Monty Brown was originally supposed to come with black trunks as part of the 2006 TNA/Impact Wrestling Marvel Toys Series 2 Multipack: Jeff Jarrett & "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown according to early promotional photos. However, the figure ended up being released with red trunks. Because this black trunks version comes on a series 3 card--but series 3 was released a year before the Jarrett/Brown 2-pack--it's unknown whether this is very rare variant or a sample/prototype of the proposed 2-pack figure.
